Ohio Cat in Middletown, OH is seeking a Hydraulics Service Technician to inspect hydraulic pumps, motors and valves for rebuild/repair, and to develop parts lists and routing for repairs. You will use catalogs and shop software to assemble required parts, while following proper testing procedures and repair guidelines.
The role requires knowledge of hydraulic components, reading blueprints, and the ability to work with shop equipment.
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
The Hydraulics Service Technician is responsible for inspecting hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves for the purpose of rebuild/repair. The successful Hydraulics Service Technician will have knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components and be familiar with how they work and operate, as well as having knowledge of proper testing procedures. The candidate will be responsible for the inspection of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and providing repair solutions. The candidate is responsible for providing a list of necessary parts required to repair the component utilizing the shop software and creating routing for each repair to schedule. The individual will have to use various catalogs and online tools to create a parts list for the repairs.
Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull. Standing/Sitting Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
