FORCE America seeks an Assembly Technician to join its Distribution team in Fort Dodge, IA. You will assemble hydraulics and pneumatics, test systems, and update inventory to support on-time customer delivery.

The role requires hands-on mechanical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize work to meet customer expectations. Experience with fluid power and diverse components is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2 year degree in Fluid Power, Mechatronics or related mechanical discipline strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of fluid power is a plus.
• 1–5 years of Assembly or Shop experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and detail orientation are essential.
• Ability to prioritize to meet customer quantity and timing expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic systems using hand and power tools.
• Test all assembled systems for quality, quantity, and timing.
• Update inventory records with parts used and defects.
• Assist customers with needs assessment and repairs.
• Coordinate with material handling, sales and others to expedite orders.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
