Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company is seeking a skilled hydraulic technician to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild hydraulic cylinder components and return equipment to proper operation. The role follows a second shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Responsibilities include PPE-compliant workflow, moving parts with pallet jacks and cranes, pressure washing, painting, and data entry. Must have strong problem-solving and written-report skills and be able to lift up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED is required.
• Six years total experience with at least two years on Cat or similar equipment.
• Ability to read repair orders and write clear activity notes.
• Capable of lifting up to 90 pounds and using hoists/crews for parts handling.
• Experience with PC-based equipment and parts information.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild hydraulic cylinder parts and restore equipment operation.
• Prepare work/ repairs in accordance with PPE requirements.
• Move parts using pallet jacks, lift trucks, cranes and other aids.
• Pressure wash and repaint components as needed.
• Disassemble/reassemble parts and use test equipment for diagnostics.
