Our client is seeking a dynamic Hydraulic Regional Sales Manager - Midwest (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, OH, WI) to drive growth across diverse markets such as Cylinder MRO/OEM, Food/Beverage, Oil & Gas, and Water sectors. Territory: Midwest (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, OH, WI)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic territory plan focusing on market penetration, competitive insight, and revenue growth.
- Set and exceed sales targets through cross-selling, expansion, and upselling within targeted markets.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing consultative support emphasizing product fit, performance, and technical application.
- Proactively resolve customer issues, advocate for customers, and respond promptly to their needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align efforts and execute strategic customer plans.
- Record all customer interactions in the CRM system, including action items, notes, and pipeline stages.
- Educate and inform customers with performance insights, compelling use cases, and ROI proposals.
- Stay updated on the company's product portfolio and their application in hydraulic and fluid power systems.
- Monitor industry trends to stay ahead of competitors and inform leadership on market changes, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Take ownership of new business acquisition and competitive disruption in the area.
- Understand hydraulic/mechanical systems and demonstrate product features to showcase value.
- Participate in projects or trade events to promote company products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or a technical field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in an industrial, mechanical, or fluid power industry role.
- Proficiency with CRM systems to document activities and data.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
