Our client is seeking a dynamic Hydraulic Regional Sales Manager - Midwest (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, OH, WI) to drive growth across diverse markets; Cylinder MRO/OEM, Food/Beverage, Oil & Gas and Water sectors. The Client wants a Hunter, a candidate energized by breaking into new accounts, upending the competition, and bringing and building a real demand for the companys products where they currently do not exist. TERRITORY: Midwest (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, OH, WI)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute a strategic territory plan that is driven by market penetration, competitive insight and revenue acceleration
- Set and surpass targeted sales goals that are set through cross-selling, expansion and upselling in the respective targeted market
- Be a trusted advisor to both internal and external teams by providing consultative support with emphasis on product fit, performance and technical application
- Be proactive with resolving customer issues, being an advocate for the customer and being highly responsive to their needs
- Work and collaborate with internal teams to align efforts and execute strategic plans for the customers
- Document and record all customer activity in CRM system which includes, action items, notes, and pipeline stages
- Education and inform customers through performance insights, presenting compelling use cases and proposals that detail the ROI of their purchase
- Stay up-to-date with the portfolio of company products and how they solve real and unique challenges in hydraulic and fluid power systems
- Consistently monitor trends in the industry to stay ahead of the competition and inform leadership regarding market changes, competitor analysis and customer insights
- Take ownership and have the drive for capturing new business and disrupting other competitors in the area
- Ability to understand hydraulic/mechanical systems with the ability to sell products by showcasing the features and turning it into value
- Participate in projects, or trade events to promote company products
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree, strongly preferred in Engineering or Technical Field
- 5 + yrs sales experience in an industrial, mechanical or fluid power industry capacity
- Ability to work with computer CRM systems to capture activities and data
- Able to travel up to 50%
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug-screen
