Human Resources is seeking a hands-on Hydraulic Assembly Technician to build hydraulic power units and related equipment. You will assemble, wire, plumb, and test units, following engineering drawings and work instructions.

A practical, mechanically minded technician who enjoys building equipment will thrive in this role. Responsibilities include installing components, performing plumbing and tube bending, wiring electrical parts, and doing basic fabrication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Fluid power certification highly desired.
• Minimum 2 years experience in assembling or troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
• Experience with electrical wiring and industrial controls is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assemble hydraulic power units per drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Install pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, reservoirs, hoses, and tubing.
• Perform hydraulic plumbing and tube bending for leaks and routing.
• Wire motors, control boxes, electrical panels, sensors.
• Do basic metal fabrication including MIG welding and cutting.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues during assembly and testing.
• Identify problems and communicate with engineering or management.
• Test units for operation and leaks; perform quality checks.
• Assist with painting/finishing as needed.
• Document assembly steps and ensure specifications are met.
• Operate belt slitting machine and attach fastening devices to belt ends.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
