Harris American is seeking a Pipe Fitter to install, assemble, fabricate, and weld piping systems for hydraulic applications. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating TIG welding, and installing piping for hydraulic machines while adhering to OSHA and safety policies. Apprenticeship or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Proven pipe fitter experience in industrial/commercial settings.
• Able to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge of piping systems, materials and installation methods.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs for piping layouts.
• Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate TIG welding operations.
• Install piping for hydraulic machines.
• Ensure quality procedures meet engineering specs.
• Work safely with welding equipment; follow OSHA policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
