Harris American Company in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Hydraulic & Electrical Assembly Technician to install, maintain, and repair hydraulic and electrical components of our equipment.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and calibrate systems, operate drill presses and grinders, and document time and job data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and work specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Able to operate and handle hand tools and shop equipment safely.
• Able to lift 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems.
• Crimp hydraulic hoses and fittings per schematics.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to troubleshoot.
• Test and calibrate hydraulic systems to meet specs.
• Assemble hoses, fittings, and lines per procedures.
