Harris American in Cordele, GA is seeking a Pipe Welder to install, fabricate, and weld piping systems for hydraulic applications. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating TIG welding, and maintaining safety and quality workmanship.

You will work with engineers and supervisors to ensure accurate layouts, assemble piping per specifications, and keep a clean, organized work area while complying with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in industrial/commercial setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge of piping systems, materials and installation methods.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for piping layouts.
• Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate TIG welding operations.
• Install piping for hydraulic machines.
• Ensure quality procedures meet engineering specifications.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety policies at all times.
