We are currently seeking a self-motivated, multi-tasking Hydraulic Mechanic for our repair shop in our Charlotte, NC branch.

Your Responsibilities:

• Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs
• Inspect parts for defects such as breakage or wear
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
• Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts and machinery
• Maintain the operating condition of industrial machinery
• Reassemble equipment after repairs or inspections
• Operate repaired machinery to verify repairs
• Cut and weld metal to repair or fabricate parts
• Document repairs and maintenance performed
• Study blueprints or manuals for proper installation or operation
• Diagnose equipment issues using test results and error messages
• Record parts used and requisition new parts as needed
• Test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
• Demonstrate equipment features to operators
• Program computer-controlled machinery

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, and a professional attitude. Experience with Sauer Danfoss and Vickers is a plus.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical experience, preferably in hydraulic repair
• Hydraulics repair course from an accredited college or equivalent work experience
