Position Overview: We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work remotely, often in construction sites, rail terminals, or facilities without a shop building. The role involves working on mobile equipment such as loaders, paving, and mining equipment. The position requires night shifts based on operational needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating and inspecting machines to diagnose defects
• Dismantling devices to access and replace defective parts
• Examining parts for imperfections and dimensional accuracy
• Adjusting and installing parts and control instruments
• Lubricating, cleaning, and testing devices
• Welding broken parts and structural components

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years related experience preferred
• Familiarity with paving equipment required
• Welding, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel repair, and fabricating experience preferred
• Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math
