Carolina Cat is seeking a skilled machinist to troubleshoot, repair, recondition, rebuild, and test hydraulic components with emphasis on machining, fabrication and welding of hydraulic cylinder parts. Use manual lathes and mills and perform precise measurements to meet OEM standards.

Responsibilities include fabricating and repairing hydraulic components, welding rods and barrels, and maintaining safety and documentation.

Qualificações

Experience with manual machining and welding processes.
Strong understanding of hydraulic cylinder construction and repair.
Ability to read technical drawings and apply precise measurements.
Familiarity with Caterpillar and OEM specifications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Operate manual lathes and milling machines to fabricate and repair hydraulic components.
Perform welding and fabrication of cylinder rods and barrels.
Use precision measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Disassemble and inspect components for repair or reusability.
Prepare surfaces for machining and welding through polishing, honing, and cleaning.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and measurements taken.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
Secure all equipment and complete required paperwork at end of shift.
Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
