This role combines hands-on mechanical and electrical tasks with safety-focused lab practice. Responsibilities include operating shop equipment, assembling pumps, piping and testing setups, and maintaining a clean, organized lab.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with some technical training.
• Minimum four years welding, fabrication, and mechanical experience.
• Minimum two years of general electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Construct, fabricate, install, assemble, test, maintain, and remove equipment for hydraulic test programs.
• Read and fabricate from drawings provided by Lab Manager and Test Engineers.
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and stick methods.
• Operate lathes, iron workers, band saws, drill presses and other lab equipment.
• Work with 110/220V single-phase and 220/480V three-phase systems and run conduit.
• Assist with assembling and aligning pumps, pipe fitting up to 54 inches, and test setups.
