Job summary

KSB GIW, Inc. in Grovetown, GA is seeking a Hydraulic Lab Technician II to join the Hydraulic Lab team. You will construct, fabricate, and test equipment, performing welding, pipe fitting, and electrical work to support test programs.

The role requires 4+ years welding/fabrication and 2+ years electrical experience, reading drawings, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced lab setting. This is a 1st shift, non-exempt position with opportunities for hands-on growth.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent education and some technical training.
• Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in general welding, fabrication, & mechanical skills.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in general electrical.

Responsibilities

• Construct, fabricate, install, assemble, test, maintain, and remove equipment in the Hydraulic Lab.
• Read and fabricate from drawings provided by Lab Manager and Test Engineers.
• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick methods.
• Operate lathes, iron workers, band saws, drills, and other lab equipment.
• Assist with assembling, installing, aligning, modifying, and testing pumps.
