KSB GIW, Inc. in Grovetown, GA, is seeking a Hydraulic Lab Technician II to join the Hydraulic Lab team. The role focuses on hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, and maintenance of equipment used in hydraulic test programs.

The ideal candidate has a background in welding, fabrication, and electrical work, with the ability to read drawings and work safely in a fast-paced lab environment. This full-time, on-site position reports to the Hydraulic Lab Test Engineer & Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus technical training.
• Minimum of four years welding, fabrication, and mechanical experience; two years electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Construct, fabricate, install, assemble, test, maintain, and remove equipment for hydraulic tests.
• Read and fabricate from drawings provided by Lab Manager and Test Engineers.
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and stick methods.
• Operate lab equipment such as lathes, iron workers, band saws, and drill presses.
• Work safely in an industrial lab and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab and document test data.
