Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Hydraulic Installation Engineer to join our team in Decatur, IL. The role involves designing and supporting hydraulic hose routing and installation for heavy equipment systems, interpreting hydraulic schematics, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure proper functionality.

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in hydraulic installation engineering and hands-on proficiency with Creo CAD software, along with problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred experience includes working with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment.

Qualifications

Experience with hydraulic hose routing and hydraulic installation engineering.
Strong understanding of hydraulic schematics and hydraulic systems integration.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Experience working in heavy equipment, automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Design and support hydraulic hose routing and installation for heavy equipment systems.
Interpret and work with hydraulic schematics, layouts, and engineering drawings.
Perform hydraulic system integration for new and existing equipment platforms.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
