Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in New Berlin, WI seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 7–10 years of manufacturing experience in heavy equipment. You will design products using CAD, lead analysis, and ensure safety and cost targets.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate across functions, and work with ERP/MRP to optimize production. Proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience in manufacturing heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of product design methodologies and DFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Design products from platform to product safety using CAD methodologies (DFM/DFA).
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and fluid power systems.
• Understand drive line and drive train systems.
• Perform stress analysis (classical methods and FEA) on bolted/welded structures.
• Maintain high accountability to commitments and business objectives.
• Apply risk mitigation and anticipate issues in projects.
• Communicate effectively with all levels and external representatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and drafters; support ERP/MRP familiarity.
