Job summary

Vinmar International is seeking a Fluid Technician to support hydraulic fracturing operations by mixing, monitoring, and maintaining fluid systems at customer locations. This role is critical for fluid performance, operational efficiency, and safety during frac operations, with prior frac experience preferred.

You will prepare, mix, and monitor fracturing fluids, handle chemicals, log field reports, and work with field personnel under safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous hydraulic fracturing (frac) experience required.
• Experience working with crosslinked (X-Link/XLink) fluid systems preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings and comply with customer site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and monitor fracturing fluid systems according to job requirements.
• Assist with the loading, handling, and transfer of chemicals and additives used in frac operations.
• Monitor fluid properties and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of fluid usage, inventory, and field reports.
• Troubleshoot fluid-related issues and communicate effectively with field supervisors and customer representatives.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain fluid handling equipment and related tools.
• Adhere to all company, customer, and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in pre-job safety meetings, job planning, and post-job reviews.
• Work collaboratively with frac crews and other field personnel to ensure efficient and successful operations.
