The role requires strong diagnostic abilities, safe operation of hoists and at heights, and meticulous record-keeping of parts and labor. You will work under a Service Manager in the Truck Service department, with emphasis on quality and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Three years related experience.
• Extremely detail oriented and accurate.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Adapting to changing work priorities.
• Meeting deadlines and schedules.
• Reading and understanding operating manuals and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting: determining causes of operating errors and deciding actions.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
• Rebuild gearboxes properly with no rework within acceptable time.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor.
• Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
