Job summary

Bosch Rexroth in Grove City, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our US Engineering team. This role coordinates all aspects of hydraulic drive system orders for mining, recycling, pulp and rubber industries across North America, and requires cross-disciplinary collaboration among electrical, hydraulic and mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/industrial/mechanical engineering.
Minimum 3 years in development and implementation of control systems or electro-mechanical devices.
At least 1 year of project coordination experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Engineer/Coordinator throughout the life of the hydraulic drive system order.
Coordinate all aspects of the project with sales, customers, and operations; design power units and drive systems; update documentation and BOMs.
Participate in progress meetings; identify and prioritize problems; facilitate cross-functional solutions.
Serve as the main electrical and hydraulic technical contact for client, sales, production, and service teams.
Create control system solutions including design drawings, sequences of operation, and operating procedures.
Review customer specifications to support Sales/Marketing quotations; ensure applicability of requirements.
Research and design hardware/software enhancements for existing systems.
Travel to customer sites as needed to facilitate design parameters and installation; travel < 10% per year.
