Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with hydraulics or hydrology emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Performs hydraulic modeling, design, and analysis of routine structures such as bridges and box culverts.
• Performs hydrologic analyses to support preliminary and hydraulic projects.
• Performs sediment transport and scour analyses to support preliminary and hydraulic projects.
• Creates sketches by hand or CAD to aid hydraulic design and modeling.
• Works with a bridge location and layout designer to evaluate alternatives for hydraulically and structurally sound sites.
