Job description

Hydraulic Assembler / Electrical Assembler (Finance)

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend required.
• Basic computer knowledge desired.
• Vocational training in lieu of experience will be considered.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics desired.
• Experience in welding and knowledge in hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing/production processes preferred.

Major Responsibilities:

• Prepare, assemble, and install vehicle and/or chipper components according to specifications for various departments.
• Use and maintain PPE properly.
• Read and interpret schematics and work orders.
• Operate basic hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Learn and operate all equipment within the work area.
• Perform rework as needed.
• Support APS initiatives and participate in RCI events.
• Cross-train to support production needs in different work areas.
• Install and test vehicle and/or chipper components and accessories.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain work area and tools.
• Keep accurate daily time records.
