Job summary

Candeo, a nonprofit serving adults with Disabilities in Polk County, seeks a Workforce Manager. You will oversee float staff, own shift scheduling, and coordinate coverage while ensuring staff training and support.

Responsibilities include tracking overtime, attendance, and payroll metrics, plus participating in a weekend on-call rotation. Requires strong organizational and leadership skills and a valid Iowa driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in a relevant field.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating schedules.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn scheduling software.
• Excellent organization and time management; ability to delegate and follow up.
• English literacy and communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise substitute and float staff and provide performance feedback.
• Manage master schedule with Daily Service Managers.
• Schedule replacement staff to ensure shift coverage.
• Handle PTO/LOA requests for Daily Service employees.
• Track and report overtime, attendance, and payroll metrics.
• Approve time cards and assist with coverage planning.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation as needed.
