Job summary

WCF Insurance is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Disability Adjuster to handle Nevada and Utah claims from our Claims team in a hybrid role with three days in the office. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sandy, UT; St.

George, UT; or Las Vegas, NV and obtain a Nevada adjuster license within 45 days if not already licensed. The role involves investigating claims, interpreting medical records, coordinating legal and medical components, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of workers' compensation disability adjusting experience.
• Strong understanding of Nevada DIR rules and Utah statutes/regulations.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong investigative, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage claims from initial report through resolution.
• Investigate claims, document findings, determine coverage and liability.
• Review medical records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate legal, medical, and disability components of each claim.
• Collaborate with injured workers, policyholders, agents, providers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
