Job summary

SCI Summit Consulting, LLC is hiring for a claims professional to manage a growing portfolio of workers’ compensation claims. You will investigate coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements, while maintaining detailed files and communicating clearly with insureds and partners.

The role requires 5+ years in property/casualty claims and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. It offers a hybrid setup (4 days in-office, 1 remote) with a Gainesville, GA base or remote options across

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling.
• Professional designation such as AIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of claims to evaluate compensability/liability.
• Plans and conducts claim investigations to confirm coverage and liability.
• Determines and negotiates settlements/reserves within authority; may attend hearings.
• Conveys complex information regarding coverage and settlements to insureds and partners.
• Authorizes payments within authority and ensures timely processing.
• Maintains detailed claim files with all correspondence and agreements.
• On-site four days a week with one remote day; hybrid work environment.
