Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd in Hawaii seeks a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation to adjudicate complex WC claims in a hybrid, Honolulu-area role. Analyze claims, determine benefits, and ensure timely adjudication in line with client requirements.

You will negotiate settlements within authority, report to excess carriers, and coordinate with claimants and clients. Requires 5 years of claims management experience; HS diploma; Bachelor's preferred; Hawaii licensing preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to determine exposure and timely resolution.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions in a professional and timely manner.
