Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services in Hawaii is seeking a Claims Examiner - Workers’ Compensation to analyze and adjudicate claims, determine benefits due, and support client service expectations in a hybrid Hawaii role. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), 5 years of claims management experience, and Hawaii licensing knowledge.

You’ll work 2 days in office and 3 days remote, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process workers compensation claims to determine exposure and resolution.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions in a timely manner.
