Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner for a Hybrid role based in Orange, CA. You will analyze claims on behalf of clients, determine benefits due, and coordinate with claimants and clients to ensure timely adjudication and high service standards.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of claims management experience (or equivalent), a High School Diploma or GED, and preferably a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through well-developed action plans to determine exposure and appropriate resolution.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions in a timely manner.
