Qualifications

• Licensed adjuster or ability to obtain license.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years WC claims experience.
• Thorough knowledge of WC rules, regulations, statutes and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology involved in complex claims.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage WC caseload within targets with authority to settle up to $50,000.
• Monitor timely execution of required deadlines and filings.
• Analyze facts of loss to develop strategies and reduce total cost of risk.
• Identify fraud indicators and pursue subrogation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Safety to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Communicate issues and resolutions via phone, email, and systems.
