Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Wire Specialist to handle opening client accounts, applying funds, and coordinating wire disbursements within a finance team. The role supports reconciliations and policy adherence for secure, accurate wire activity.

The position requires 2 years in finance/banking, a related bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ability to work in a hybrid Denver, CO environment 2-3 days per week with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Finance, Banking, or Accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Real estate experience and familiarity with 1031 exchanges is a plus.
• Experience with wiring funds, including confirmation of wiring instruction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open new client accounts (30+ per day) and close accounts.
• Apply incoming funds to customer accounts and resolve unapplied funds in a timely manner.
• Assist in confirmation of wiring instructions.
• Initiate wire disbursements (30+ wires a day) with accuracy.
• Serve as back-up wire approver for disbursements.
• Prepare outgoing checks for signature.
