Job summary

The Children's Place in Secaucus, NJ is seeking an Amazon Planner to build financial sales plans and monitor results. You will maintain inventory levels to support baseline and promotional activity, while supporting assortment initiatives and cross‑channel movements.

Candidates should have 3+ years in wholesale planning, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency with Excel and BI tools like Cognos. This role operates in a hybrid model with in‑office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wholesale planning or a related role.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes.
• Proficiency in Excel-based tools and creating custom calculations.
• Familiarity with Cognos or other BI data sources.

Responsibilities

• Create wholesale preseason sales, margin and inventory plans by division and category.
• Analyze historical data and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage in-season sales and stock performance with monthly reforecasts.
• Present forecasts in open-to-buy meetings across a 52-week horizon.
• Recap performance by category versus last plan and LY.
• Collaborate with Merchants and Planning on assortment and inventory movements.
• Own weekly selling reports for Amazon.
