R.E. Chaix & Associates Insurance Brokers, Inc. is seeking a full-time, hybrid Broker in Warrenville, IL to market and place wholesale and excess & surplus commercial risks.

You will review submissions, negotiate terms, and manage renewals, while maintaining strong agent relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires 3+ years wholesale/MGA experience, an active P&C license, and proficiency with MS Office and agency management systems.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• 3+ years wholesale/MGA experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial P&C coverages and E&S markets.
• Ability to negotiate, communicate, and organize effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail insurance agents.
• Market and place wholesale and excess & surplus business.
• Negotiate coverage, pricing, and terms.
• Review submissions, loss runs, and underwriting information.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, and manage renewals.
• Collaborate with underwriters and carrier representatives.
• Meet production and revenue goals.
• Provide timely service and follow-up from first quote through binding.
