Job summary

KWS Cereals USA LLC is seeking a permanent full-time Production Research Manager for Hybrid Wheat. The role oversees field production and seed conditioning research with global responsibilities and a start date in early 2027.

The position involves planning field/lab trials, optimizing environmental and agronomic requirements, and managing internal/external trial providers while maintaining budgets. The role emphasizes leading field trials, refining production methodologies, stakeholder training,

Qualifications

Experienced research expert with a focus on in-field trials and hybrid crop production.
Technical understanding of the production of small grains.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Ability to work outdoors.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Lead Field Trials for Hybrid Seed Production.
Design experiments to evaluate environmental and agronomic requirements for hybrid seed production.
Manage stakeholder relationships with growers, trial providers, and conditioning partners.
Collaborate with international teams to share knowledge and coordinate global research initiatives.
Data collection, analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop, manage and monitor the research budget and resources.
