Job summary

Bay Path University is seeking a Web Developer to contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the University’s web presence across multiple institutions and digital initiatives. You will work closely with the Director of University Web Services on front-end implementation, CMS development, and integration with back-end systems, ensuring accessibility and mobile responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Foundational experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress).
• Experience building dynamic, database-driven web applications (PHP or similar).
• Basic SQL querying with MySQL or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration with websites and lead forms.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility and web performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain University websites, landing pages, and related properties for usability, accessibility, SEO, and performance.
• Implement front-end features and CMS templates with well-structured code.
• Collaborate with Marketing and IT to support campaigns and lead capture.</n>
• Support upcoming university website redesigns and ensure accessibility and responsive design.
• Provide backup coverage for essential web operations and assist with content updates.
