Job summary

NRECA, a national trade association serving more than 900 consumer-owned electric cooperatives, seeks a web operations specialist. You will manage national Touchstone Energy sites and local co‑op sites, using Drupal-based SHiNE and Co‑op Web Builder platforms to ensure brand consistency and accessibility.

You will collaborate with the SHiNE team, coordinate third‑party development, design pages with templates, and train co‑ops on CMS usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Web/Digital Design, Development, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of web design experience using CMS (WordPress, Drupal) and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch.
• Moderate experience with Javascript and JQuery; expert HTML/CSS coding.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily operations of TSE web programs and services using SHiNE CMS and Co-op Web Builder (Drupal) to build co‑op sites with brand consistency.
• Coordinates and oversees third‑party development ensuring standards for a seamless user experience.
• Works with members to design sites using SHiNE and Co‑op templates.
• Assists members by answering inquiries, fulfilling requests, and troubleshooting issues promptly.
• Provides input on content, multimedia, structure, design and Touchstone Energy brand standards.
• Trains members to use SHiNE CMS and Co‑op Web Builder; acts as a technical help desk and collects feedback for improvements.
• Reviews websites regularly for accuracy and risk status.
• Supports development and maintenance of internal TSE sites (TouchstoneEnergy.com, CooperativeAdvantage.com, Next.touchstoneenergy.com).
