Job summary

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) seeks an enthusiastic, highly organized events professional to support the design, development, and delivery of Education, Training & Events conferences and programs. You will assist managers, speakers, and subject matter experts, coordinating materials, communications, technology platforms, and onsite logistics for member-facing events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or related field required; 3+ years supporting conferences/events
  • Hands-on experience with event technology platforms (apps, registration, speaker tools)
  • Knowledge of speaker management processes, AV coordination
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 tools
  • Willingness to travel 5–10% and report to office as needed

Responsibilities

  • Supports planning and execution of complex conferences; collaborates with program, marketing, and business development teams
  • Provides front-line service to members; responds to inquiries and coordinates with stakeholders
  • Manages speaker communications, biographies, photos, and presentation materials; prepares AV materials
  • Designs and produces digital and printed signage; coordinates print timelines
  • Plans conference mobile app content and attendee communications
  • Develops run-of-show slides and room monitor materials
  • Maintains event websites content and publishes materials to site and app
  • Eligible for hybrid work schedule (up to 2 days from home)
