Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Analyst II to manage a portfolio of Workers' Compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions. The role emphasizes independent claim handling, timely resolution, and cost control while supporting injured associates toward successful return-to-work.

The position collaborates with internal partners and vendors, escalating complex issues as needed. This is a hybrid role with in-person days at a core location and remote days, with no direct people-management

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience.
• Active adjuster license(s) or able to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of incident-, medical-, and lost-time WC claims.
• Conduct timely investigations to determine compensability and exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and guidelines.
• Manage medical treatment to minimize disability and support return-to-work.
• Collaborate with Store Management, Distribution, Transportation, and HR to support RTW initiatives.
• Coordinate with nurse triage and PBM partners to ensure appropriate care.
• Identify fraud indicators and escalate as needed.
• Communicate clearly with associates, providers, attorneys, and vendors.
