Job summary

Freese and Nichols is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to lead our West Texas practice from Lubbock or El Paso, Texas. The role focuses on managing, leading, and supporting teams delivering municipal water and wastewater solutions across the region, with potential projects in the southern United States.

You will oversee design, construction administration, and reporting while growing client relationships and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater treatment experience with emphasis on municipal treatment.
• Strong communication, presentation and sales skills.
• Texas PE license or ability to obtain in Texas within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee analysis, design, construction administration, and technical reports for water/wastewater projects.
• Manage project teams and coordinate workload and sales efforts to serve clients.
• Lead multi-discipline treatment plant projects, including $1M+ fee range.
• Apply water/wastewater process design, treatment plant civil/structural/mechanical/electrical design, and construction contract management.
