Job summary

Robert G. Campbell and Associates seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Design Engineer for our site design team.

This role is primarily onsite, collaborating with teams across NC, SC and TN, to design treatment facilities, distribution lines, lift stations and asset management plans. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering, PE licensure, CAD proficiency, and GIS skills, plus strong project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Experience with topographic surveys and models.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and calculations.
• Adhere to budgets, estimates and schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Create project specifications and bidding documents.
• Interact with local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pre-employment screening; drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of water/wastewater facilities, distribution systems, and networks.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain approvals.
• Collaborate with private and government clients.
• Support funding applications and opportunities for public clients.
• Work with site development, survey, and inspection staff on turnkey projects.
• Perform field investigations, data collection and site inspections.
• Mentor and grow the utility design team.
