Job summary

State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water Resources, is seeking an individual contributor to administer water distribution within a complex priority system. You will monitor measurements, assist the public, and help resolve disputes with field inspections and data documentation.

The role requires a minimum of six years related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Hybrid work arrangements are possible with some travel to districts.

Qualifications

• Six years of work experience assisting engineers, scientists, or technicians with water distribution.
• Experience with water rights, permits, or related water resource operations is preferred.
• Strong communication and public-facing interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Water administration and regulation of water distribution within priority system.
• Public interaction to provide data and resolve disputes.
• Water measurement, records maintenance, and data entry into computer systems.
