Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or agricultural/biosystems engineering or related science (required).
• Advanced degree in engineering or science preferred.
• Prior internship in environmental consulting (preferred).
• Experience with modeling/design tools such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, HY-8, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and TR-55 (preferred).
• Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing (required).
• Some field work and overnight travel (required).
• Valid U.S. driver's license and driving record for business travel (required).

Responsibilities

• Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling.
• Watershed, stormwater management, and stream restoration design and analysis.
• Surface water quality/hydrodynamic modeling and environmental data analysis.
• Green infrastructure/low impact development design.
• Floodplain modeling and permitting.
• Erosion and sediment control design.
• Clean Water Act/NPDES compliance.
• Civil/infrastructure design and site layout.
• Site visits/field investigations; and
• Preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, etc.
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
