Job summary
McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Water Resources Designer I to join our Water Resources Department. Projects range from drainage improvements and flood studies to storm drain design, BMP and retrofit design to hydraulic design of bridge and culvert crossings as well as stream restoration.

Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Water Resources.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- 0–4 years of experience in water resources or related field.
- Strong communications and technical writing skills; team oriented.
Responsibilities
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling with listed software.
- Collect and analyze field data and as-built plans for existing conditions.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary design team.
- Design stormwater management systems for water quality and quantity.
- Prepare drainage, erosion, utility relocation and ROW plans with estimates.
- Develop engineering design plans using MicroStation and Open Roads.
