Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a software engineer who sits at the intersection of software development and the North American supply chain. You'll design and build full-stack applications (Python backend, React/Vue frontend) deployed on a Kubernetes platform to support warehouse operations.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate real-world problems into engineered solutions, and contribute AI-enabled features in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
• 1-3 years software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience building UIs in React or Vue.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work in Cincinnati, OH on a hybrid schedule.
• Willingness to travel up to ~10%.

Responsibilities

• 70% Development: write production-quality Python backend algorithms and services and React/Vue frontend applications; design data models, APIs, integrations, and algorithms for complex warehouse workflows.
• 30% Consultation: engage with warehouse site teams and platform engineering to define requirements and ensure delivery fits operational realities.
