AECOM is seeking a Vice President, Transportation Business Development Lead to drive statewide growth with TxDOT in Texas. The role requires deep knowledge of TxDOT and transportation policies, and leadership across cross-functional teams to win new and repeat business.

The position is based in Texas with a hybrid work model and offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. Immediate start is expected for this external-facing leader.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 12 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in leadership.
• Experience with TxDOT standards, policies, regulations, and procedures in a government context.
• Strong relationships with TxDOT and the transportation community in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Fully accountable for business development activities with TxDOT in collaboration with leaders across the AECOM Texas business.
• Represent AECOM and serve as a point of contact with TxDOT Leadership.
• Manage delivery of projects by aligning local and global resources with regulatory obligations.
• Serve as Principal-in-Charge on larger projects providing executive oversight, client relationships and risk management.
• Identify opportunities to expand services offered to TxDOT and collaborate on proposals.
