Job summary

CooperDouglas is seeking a VP of Accounting to lead a growing multi-entity distribution business. You will own monthly, quarterly and annual closes, strengthen financial reporting and internal controls, and build a scalable accounting team.

This hybrid role reports to senior global accounting leadership and collaborates with finance, tax, treasury and executives. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, an active CPA, and 10+ years in progressive accounting roles, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Active CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
• Review and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger, intercompany, and account reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and SOX readiness.
• Manage external audit relationships and audit planning.
