Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC is seeking a VMware & Cloud Support Engineer to maintain and optimize enterprise virtualization and cloud environments across on-premises and public cloud platforms. This role emphasizes high availability, performance, and security in a hybrid infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 2–6 years of hands-on VMware experience and 1–4 years supporting AWS, Azure, or GCP, with strong scripting skills and ITIL familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years hands-on VMware virtualization experience.
• 1–4 years cloud environment experience.
• Experience in enterprise IT support or infrastructure operations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• VMware Administration — Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, resource pools, DRS/HA, vMotion, and storage integrations.
• Cloud Platform Support — AWS/Azure/GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and monitoring.
• Incident & Problem Management — Diagnose and resolve virtualization and cloud-related issues.
• Performance Optimization — Monitor system health, tune workloads, and optimize resources.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery — Implement and support backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik) and DR strategies.
• Security & Compliance — Apply patches, enforce security baselines, manage access controls, and ensure compliance.
• Automation & Scripting — Use PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Terraform to automate tasks.
• Documentation — Maintain SOPs, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration — Work with DevOps, Networking, Security, and Application teams to support business initiatives.
