Quantum Technologies. LLC seeks a VMware & Cloud Support Engineer to maintain and optimize enterprise virtualization with VMware and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

You will ensure high availability, performance, and security across hybrid environments, collaborating with DevOps and security teams. Ideal candidates have 2–6 years of hands-on VMware experience, strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python), and familiarity with backup and DR strategies.

Competenze

• Experience with VMware virtualization in enterprise environments.
• Cloud platform knowledge across AWS/Azure/GCP required or strong exposure.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python) and automation.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.

Mansioni

• Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, DRS/HA, vMotion, and storage integrations.
• Provide operational support for AWS/Azure/GCP services including IAM and monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve virtualization and cloud issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance and tune workloads; optimize resource usage.
• Implement backup/DR strategies using Veeam, Commvault, or Rubrik.
• Apply security baselines, manage access controls, and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Networking, Security, and Applications teams.
