DLA Piper LLP is seeking multiple junior, mid-level, and senior associates to join its Emerging Growth & Venture Capital group in San Diego. The associates will work with emerging growth companies and investors, handling a range of corporate matters including venture financings, M&A, and day-to-day corporate work.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Emerging Growth/Venture Capital experience, prior AmLaw 100 firm exposure, and strong legal research, drafting, and client relations skills.

Qualificações

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission to practice in the state.
• 2+ years of Emerging Growth/Venture Capital experience.
• AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Legal Research: Conduct thorough and comprehensive legal research to support transactions.
• Legal Writing: Draft well-written and precise legal documents and correspondence.
• Transaction Assistance and Management: Manage complex transactions from inception to resolution including negotiations and closings.
• Internal/External Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships with timely updates and advice.
• Collaboration: Work with lawyers and professionals to support strategy and outcomes.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and negotiations as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal standards and firm policies.
