Job summary

Zurich offers Summer 2027 Underwriting Internship opportunities in the U.S. where you will work with experienced professionals to contribute to real projects and learn underwriting fundamentals under mentorship.

You'll support financial reporting, analysis, and reporting using underwriting tools, and participate in meetings with clients, brokers, and stakeholders while gaining exposure to a global insurance leader.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business or related field
• Two or more years of college coursework (rising Junior or Senior)
• Microsoft Office experience
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands-on training
• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis
• Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using underwriting and business intelligence tools
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis
• Gain exposure to customer, broker, and partner relationships within the insurance industry
