Job summary

Falvey Insurance Group is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with underwriting teams, design process improvements, and advocate for stakeholders across Technology and Operations. You will help optimize in-house software systems that support underwriting operations and become embedded with a primary line of business.

Key responsibilities include participating in design of large-scale projects, coordinating UAT, and leveraging BI platforms to monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and design processes.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Domo) is a plus.
• Insurance industry experience or business analysis exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as advocate and internal consultant for underwriting line.
• Design solutions to underwriting problems and identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with Software Development, Data Analytics, and Marketing.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing for system updates.
• Review KPI data and support cross-line business needs.
• Provide backup coverage for other underwriting lines when needed.
